I interviewed with Rick in person on Tuesday, March 28, 2011 at 10:30 am. We discussed the history of Quadras, he showed me catalogs they have created, gave me a tour of their facility and introduced me to some of the staff. It was a very good experience because speaking with him and especially being able to view their facility confirmed for me the photography field I would like to pursue. I felt in my element walking through the props and sets they had constructed. When Rick walked me out afterward I found that we have some views in common. He shared with me that he got into Commercial Photography because he was allowed the ability to be creative yet make money, as opposed to Portrait or Fine Art photography. He even invited me to watch them do a fashion shoot on location the following morning. (Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch the shoot like I wanted because of a scheduling change that Rick nor I was aware of.)
